Excursions
Jungfraujoch TOP OF EUROPE
The Jungfraujoch is probably the most famous excursion destination in the Bernese Oberland and Switzerland in general. The highest railway station in Europe is located in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Aletsch Glacier and offers a wonderful view of Europe's longest glacier stream, the Ice Palace, the Sphinx Viewpoint, a museum, the Lindt chocolate shop and much more.

Schilthorn - Piz Gloria
After a 32-minute ride with the cable car from the Stechelberg valley station, you reach the summit of the Schilthorn. Enjoy the view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and over 200 other mountain peaks. (James) Bond World, revolving restaurant.

Niederhorn
The area above Beatenberg is home to one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Switzerland. It is a paradise for hikers, but also ideal for families. The scooter descent from the middle to the valley station is not only an adventure for children.

Harder Kulm
The valley station of Interlaken's local mountain can be reached from the hotel on foot or by public transport in a short time. With the funicular you can reach the summit and the restaurant in a few minutes. Enjoy the spectacular view of the »Bödeli« and the Bernese Alps. During the summer months, a sunset ride is offered (see timetable).

Boat cruises on Lakes Thun and Brienz
Lean back and let the picturesque landscape pass you by on a boat trip on the green waters of Lakes Thun and Brienz. This excursion can be wonderfully combined with a visit to the wood-carving village of Brienz and the Ballenberg Museum. Or you can spend a few hours shopping in Thun.
