Motor bikers, cyclists, mountain bikers and hikers are welcome!

Your host, Fritz Hutmacher, loves going on tours himself. His tours by motorbike or bicycle regularly take him all over Switzerland and even abroad. So if you feel like doing a tour over the three mountain passes Susten, Furka and Grimsel or a trip along quieter roads, just ask Fritz! He will be pleased to help you plan your next route!

Regional maps are available for your use.

Susanne and Fritz Hutmacher get around the entire Bernese Oberland on foot. They can give you first hand advice on hikes and tours of different levels and duration. Hikers will also find appropriate maps for use.

By the way, you are welcome to bring your dog. We charge CHF 10.- per night. Your pet will receive a blanket to sleep on, a food bowl, a towel to dry its paws and a welcome bone.

For motor bikers, cyclists and mountain bikers we offer:

  • Lockable garage for several motorbikes
  • Cellar for bikes
  • Drying room and tumble dryer for wet raincoats and shoes
  • Washing facilities, tools
  • Free W-LAN and internet station (additional charge) to plan your trip, possibility to print
  • Luggage storage room
  • Free tea and coffee around the clock, fridge for provisions
  • Also: bicycle mechanic 50m, motorbike mechanic 150m
  • Supermarket with bicycle parts and provisions just around the corner
